Molybdenum electrode high-temperature anti-oxidation coating
Traditional cold repair requires experienced technicians to "hot push" electrodes at high temperatures, involving high risks and heavy reliance on expertise. Xiamen Honglu has developed a Mo‑Si‑B high‑temperature oxidation‑resistant coating, which is metallurgically bonded to the molybdenum substrate via a pack cementation process. This enables cold installation of electrodes and synchronous heating with the furnace, providing full‑process oxidation protection. The innovations: completely eliminating high‑temperature hazardous operations and ensuring personnel safety; standardizing the cold installation process to reduce dependence on master craftsmen and alleviate labor shortages; preventing electrode damage during hot pushing, improving installation qualification rates, and reducing spare parts waste.
